Commentary & Scripture
Here are some scriptures and explanations which show from the beginning of the great 7 year tribulation to eternity.
I have spent many years researching and studying this, and I’m just getting started!
I hope these scriptures and explanations help to prepare you for what is coming.
Many of you will not agree with what I’m saying, but the truth is we are going to go through the great 7 year tribulation.
Many are being taught that the rapture happens BEFORE the start of the 7 year tribulation.
This is called the “Pretribulation Rapture”.
However, how can there be a mass resurrection of all the Saints before the “First Resurrection”, which does NOT happen until near the end of the great 7 year tribulation?
READ IT AGAIN!
THE FIRST RESURRECTION.
It is called the FIRST RESURRECTION because it is FIRST!
The “Pretrib Rapture” is by definition a mass resurrection.
How can there be a mass resurrection before the first resurrection?
Don’t you see how wrong that doctrine is?
The tribulation is 7 years: the first 3.5 years is false peace and false safety.
Everything about the tribulation centers around the antichrist and the false prophet.
This next scripture explains a little about the character of the antichrist, and verse 25 shows us that the antichrist will rule 3.5 years.
Although the tribulation is 7 years the antichrist will only rule the world the last half of the tribulation.
Also, take note that the Saints are there in the great 7 year tribulation!
Daniel 7:23-26 KJV
23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
This next scripture also reveals the character of the antichrist, and reveals that the antichrist will come to an end.
Also, take note that the Saints are in the great 7 year tribulation!
Daniel 8:23-25 KJV
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
This next verse shows us that the antichrist will make a covenant for one week, meaning 7 years.
We also see in this verse that the Jews will be sacrificing again, but the antichrist will go back on the covenant half way through and he will stop the sacrifices.
This is most definitely talking about the Jews in Israel, in particular.
So, Jews and Christians should not be going to live in Israel at all.
Daniel 9:27 KJV
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
There is a lot in the next set of verses.
There are just a couple of things I want to point out.
These verses show us even more about the character of the antichrist, and how he thinks.
A great tool for us during the great 7 year tribulation.
Also, again take note, that the Saints are there during the tribulation.
We will be there to lead the lost to Jesus, but many “Christians” will be flattered by antichristians, and those who falsely claim to be Christians will help the antichristians.
Daniel 11:21-45 KJV
21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.
23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.
24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.
26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
27 And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.
31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
The next verses clearly say the Saints are going to be in the tribulation.
These verses also say that the actual time of the actual tribulation to suffer is only 3.5 years.
The first 3.5 years of the tribulation are our time to prepare to hide from the antichrist.
This is what my short story is all about.
This makes it clear to me that the true rapture is at the end of the tribulation.
We won’t know the exact day or hour we are raptured at the First Resurrection.
Daniel 12:1-13 KJV
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
These next verses are Jesus telling every Christian what to expect during the tribulation.
We are witnessing these things NOW!
And, to tell you the truth, it is only going to get worse, much much worse!
Luke 21:8-36 KJV
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
These next verses assure us we will be caught up with the dead in Christ to meet Jesus in the air, AND that we come back with Him (verse 14).
Verse 14 is not WHEN we come back, but simply put Jesus is only telling us briefly in verse 14 that He will bring the dead in Christ with Him at His Second Coming.
Of course, those who are caught up to the air ALIVE come back with Jesus too.
Remember, Jesus is referred to in these verses as God & Lord.
Read these verses carefully.
These verses go with .
So, at this point, I believe that the true rapture, the coming of the Lord in the air, and us meeting Jesus in the air, are all within the same event and the same time frame.
We don’t come back with Jesus until a later time at His Second Coming.
The First Resurrection is NOT the same exact event as the Second Coming.
Their timing is what is in question, or how close to each other they happen.
We are NOT told the timing of the First Resurrection or Christ’s Second Coming.
Both events could be separated by minutes, or by hours, or by as much as a month or so.
WE ARE NOT TOLD!!!
JESUS SAID WE WILL NOT KNOW THE EXACT TIMES OF THESE TWO EVENTS!!!
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
These next verses show us clearly that the rapture (our gathering unto Him) does NOT happen until AFTER the antichrist is revealed, and once the antichrist is revealed this starts the 7 year tribulation.
So, when you see the antichrist being revealed you will know that the pretrib rapture was a lie, and you may be asking Jesus,
“WHY ARE WE STILL HERE LORD?”
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 KJV
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The next verse clearly shows that God sanctions and approves the Saints to hide.
Jesus even prepares a place for the Saints to hide.
I honestly hope and believe I will be used by Jesus to create a safe haven for the Saints during the tribulation!
I will be happy even if I am only a person helping someone else to build a safe haven.
To be alive when Jesus raptures us up will be a great thing.
It is also a great thing to die for Jesus by getting your head cut off, but I would much rather be alive for the First Resurrection.
Also, take note, we will NOT be here when Jesus returns.
We will have gone up in the First Resurrection before Jesus returns.
Only the lost and the antichristians will be here when Jesus returns.
Revelation 12:6 KJV
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
The Hebrew Calendar is 360 days, not 365 days.
(3.5 years, or 360×3.5=1,260 days)
This next verse shows that the beast will rule 42 months.
That’s 42 months x 30 days = 1260 days = 3.5 years.
Revelation 13:5 KJV
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
These verses also give insight to the character of the antichrist.
These character traits can be seen in all antichristians.
Verse 10 is very clear that self defense will get you killed during the tribulation.
There are only 2 options for the Saints during the tribulation:
Hide or die, and that is the bottom line.
Revelation 13:6-10 KJV
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
These next set of verses speak of the image of the beast and the marks of the beast.
Verse 17 tells us there are 3 different marks:
1. The Mark
2. The Name of the beast
3. The Number of the beast
We do NOT know the first two, but we do know what the number of the beast is.
The number of the beast is 666.
Revelation 13:15-18 KJV
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
This next set of verses give us ALL a warning!
Read it and you will see!!!
Revelation chapters 13 & 14 go hand in hand!
Revelation 14:9-13 KJV
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
The tribulation and Christ’s Millennial Reign equals one thousand and seven years total.
1,000 years of Christ ruling + 7 year tribulation = 1,000+7=1,007 years.
We are not given the amount of time after Christ’s millennial reign, when satan’s armies are gathered together.
Neither are we given the amount of time after Jesus casts satan into the lake of fire.
We do not know how much time passes between satan being cast into the lake of fire and the White Throne Judgement, or Judgement Day.
(END SIDE NOTE)
These next verses speak of the true rapture.
Even though the living Saints being raptured alive are not mentioned here they are still a part of the First Resurrection.
The other scriptures I have posted make it clear that when the dead in Christ are resurrected that the living Saints are caught up into the air to be with them and to be with Jesus in the air.
This is the true Rapture.
Many are teaching that the Church is not mentioned after , and they say that the Rapture happens in .
However, you can clearly see the church is mentioned in .
The Saints are the church.
Revelation 20:1-6 KJV
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
The last battle.
It is NOT the battle at the end of the 7 year tribulation, which is called “The Battle of Armageddon”.
The last battle is at the end of Christ’s 1,000 year millennial reign, and it has no name.
The battle of Armageddon is where Jesus destroys the antichrist, the false prophet, and all antichristians.
The last battle with no name is where Jesus destroys satan and all those who serve satan.
Revelation 20:7-10 KJV
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
This next verse explains The White Throne Judgement AFTER the last battle.
The second death is mentioned as well.
Revelation 20:11-15 KJV
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
These next verses mention the universe & time & ALL THINGS being destroyed.
A New Heaven and a New Earth and the New Jerusalem.
Jesus is the true Tabernacle.
Jesus gives warning of what is not allowed with Him in eternity.
Revelation 21:1-8 KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
What I love most about these next verses is that Jesus will be THE LIGHT in the New Heaven, the New Earth, and the New Jerusalem!
There will no longer be any stars, or a sun, or a moon, or a candle, or a light bulb!
JESUS WILL BE THE ONLY LIGHT!!!
Revelation 22:1-7 KJV
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
These scriptures are very thorough & precise.
However, I am human & I am certain these scriptures are NOT the only scriptures that can be found.
Every country is a part of the antichrist beast, or will be.
There are antichristians in every religion, every nation, and every culture.
The tribulation is the time satan unites them all using the antichrist and the false
They will be united with one main purpose, and that purpose will be to kill anyone who is BORN AGAIN.
I believe this.
I believe most scripture is multifaceted, especially prophecy.
We will not know the exact day or hour of Christ’s return, however there are some prophecies we may very well see in our lifetime.
I believe we may see the manifestation of the antichrist.
When that will be we are not told.
It could be tomorrow, or it could be 100 years from now.
We just don’t know.
Once the tribulation begins all prophecy related to the tribulation will unfold before us.
This Questions section is for discussing my short story titled,
“WHY ARE WE STILL HERE LORD?”
You can read the story by going to the 2 web links below:
